Daiki Aluminium Industry announced on Wednesday the firm sold the shares in MOLT, the joint venture for manufacturing molten aluminium in USA, to Toyota Tsusho at the end of March to meet Toyota Tsusho’s offer.
MOST was established in May 1997 as the venture of Toyota Tsusho, Toyota Tsusho America and Daiki International Trading, wholly owned subsidiary of Daiki Aluminium. Daiki Aluminium has provided technical support to MOST by sending a vice-president, under agreement for technical assistance agreement. Daiki Aluminium group’s controlling share in MOST has been 45% since capital increase for second plant construction in Tennessee in 2005.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
