Siam Yamato Steel, Yamato Kogyo’s subsidiary in Thailand, will complete the construction of no.2 plant during June-July 2009 and start the operation. No.2 plant produces H-beam and channel steel with output capacity of 400,000 tonnes per year. Siam Yamato Steel will export the products to growing South East Asia market as well as domestic market.
The subsidiary has no.1 plant in Rayong Province and produces shaped steels mainly H-beam. Current capacity is 650,000 tonnes per year. The demand for shape steels has expanded in Thailand or neighbor countries for several years. Yamato Kogyo decided to enhance the production capacity.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
