Nisshin Steel Continues Order Skip of Ni Stainless Sheet in February

Nisshin Steel announced on Monday the firm skips order acceptance for nickel series cold rolled stainless steel sheet from distributors in February. The order skip continues for 8 consecutive months when the shipping in the market is slow. The firm optimizes the output along the demand.

The firm said the inventory adjustment is only half done and the demand rebound is expected after May. The output of automobile or energy industry shows sign of increase or the inventory volume of nickel series cold rolled stainless steel sheet is slightly decreasing according to Japanese stainless steel coil centers’ association.

The firm will accept the order for chrome series stainless steel sheet when some inventory products of dealers are short.
