Japanese ferrous scrap export decreased to around 730,000 tonnes in August from July, which decreased for 3 consecutive months. The export decreased by 37.6% to 345,000 tonnes for China, by 14.3% to 30,000 tonnes for Taiwan while increased by 35.8% to 334,000 tonnes for South Korea. The export for China represented first decrease in 3 months. The export for Taiwan showed first decrease in 2 months. Meanwhile, the export for South Korea rebounded after 3 months.
