Japan H-beam Export Price Downs by US$ 50-60/t for Nov-Dec

Japanese H-beam export price to South Korea is set at C&F $ 580-590 per tonne for November-December shipment, down by $ 50-60 from the peak level, according to Japanese large dealers and makers. Chinese H-beam market price dropped and impacted the international prices. Chinese market price maintains downward at present. Japanese export price is likely to decrease more.

Chinese H-beam makers are aggressively increasing export and offering low price. Japanese large dealer source said Japanese H-beam export price is impacted by the increase of Chinese export. Chinese H-beam output continues to increase.

Japanese maker source said higher yen exchange rate also makes an impact on Japanese H-beam export. Yen exchange rate is around 90 yen per US dollar. Japanese makers’ profits are reduced Japanese makers may suspend the export if export price decreases and yen rate rises more.
