H-beam Price is decreasing from 66,000-67,000 yen per tonne for base size around Tokyo. Some dealers reduce the price while the order from the buyers remains low. The price would decline more.
The dealers’ inventory was flat in October from September. The shipment seemed to decrease from September. The dealers’ purchase price is around 70,000 yen per tonne while the reselling price is decreasing. Some dealers reduce the reselling price responding the users’ require for price cut while the demand remains low. The transaction price shifts toward around 65,000 yen. Ferrous scrap purchase price by electric furnace steel makers rebounded. However, the users expect steel products price would decline more when scrap price, which is less than 25,000 yen at electric furnace steels’ purchase, is reasonable compared with the peak.
