The firm increases the price of SUS 304, SUS 410 and SUS 403. The firm increases nickel series wire rod price for 3 quarters in a row while the chrome series price increases for 2 straight quarters. The firm increased nickel series price by 60,000 yen for September order and chrome series price by 5,000 yen.
Daido Steel increases stainless steel wire rod price for December order when ferrochrome price increased to 111 US cents per pound in October-December. The increase in nickel price is offset by yen appreciation.
