Structural steel market price is weak at around 115,000 yen per tonne for carbon steel bar for machine structural uses and at around 135,000 yen per tonne for chrome and molybdenum steel bar around Tokyo.
The demand keeps low from construction machines in domestic market, though the demand is realtively firm from automobiles. Dealers’ order receipt volume is recovering from the bottom but their shipment still keeps inactive.
