Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products, Japanese major steel building material maker, announced on Friday the firm acquired the right to sell Nippon Steel’s steel tube pole. The firm aims to enhance the pole business for lighting or telegraph pole and plans to sell the products to overseas market.
Steel tube poles are used for antenna, lighting or community wireless system. The height is 27 meters at maximum while the diameter is 100-750 millimeters. The weight is a sixth compared with a concrete pole. The pole is able to be built without particular bases thanks to the light weight and the underslung. The building lead time can be shortened as well as easier movement and remove because the pole’s components are resolvable. Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products set up a special management department for the pole with 3 representatives. The firm aims the sales volume at 1,000-2,000 tonnes per year and plans to sustain 1,000 tonnes averagely.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
