Bunka Shutter to Capture Higher Synergy with Fuji Sash

Bunka Shutter expects synergy gain at 4.5 billion yen in sales and 600 million yen in operating profit through alliance with Fuji Sash in fiscal 2010 started April, said the president Tetsuya Motegi at a results briefing held on Wednesday. The firms plan to increase the profit through the joint sale and joint procurement.

Bunka Shutter reported the tie-up synergy at 3 billion yen in sales and 500 million yen in profit in fiscal 2009.

Bunka Shutter increases the sales of Fuji Sash’s window product to general contractor and builder while 2 firms cooperate in cultivating home renovation business.

Bunka Shutter expects 1.95 billion yen of consolidated operating profit in fiscal 2010 while the firm posted 3.5 billion yen of operating loss in fiscal 2009. The firm plans to reduce the cost by 5.2 billion yen in fiscal 2010 from fiscal 2009.
