Daiki Aluminium Industry’s subsidiary in USA, Daiki International Trading Corporation (DITCO) plans to increase aluminium scrap trading volume by 20% to 3,000 tonnes per month within 2010. Scrap consumption is expected to increase in the group when Daiki Aluminium Industry, Japanese largest secondary aluminium alloy maker, constructs new offshore plants.
DITCO collects aluminium scrap and secondary aluminium, those which are main materials for secondary aluminium alloy, in North and South America. These materials are supplied mainly to Delta Aluminium Industry, Daiki’s affiliated company in Guangdong, China. DITCO’s current trading is 2,500 tonnes per month. DITCO will start material export to Daiki’s new production sites in Indonesia and Philippines. Indonesian plant is scheduled to produce secondary aluminium alloy at 2,500 tonnes per month and Philippine plant at 500 tonnes per month.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
