Dowa Holdings announced on Friday the firm’s consolidated operating profit increased to 2.35 times at 10.081 billion yen in April-June compared with the same period of 2009. The sales increased by 49.8% to 94.603 billion yen and net profit increased to almost 4 times at 6.522 billion yen due to the increase in demand for automobile and information technology.
