Toshiba Corporation announced on Friday the firm concluded a memorandum of understanding with Mongolia’s MNFCC to launch discussions on possible cooperation in development of Mongolia’s mineral resources, including uranium, rare earths and rare metals products, and enhancement of the country’s social infrastructure. MNFCC was established in September 2010 to implement Mongolian public-private partnership for development of mineral resources, energy and social infrastructure.
On November 19, Naoto Kan, Prime Minister of Japan, met Mongolian President, Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, and they agreed to build a strategic partnership and to secure mutually beneficial cooperation in developing mineral resources in Mongolia.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
