Anshan Iron and Steel notified Japanese buyers of flat rolled steel export price for March rolling, according to industry source. The firm increases the export price by US$ 85 to C&F US$ 850 for hot rolled coil and by US$ 70 to US$ 900 for cold rolled coil from February. The firm apparently passes higher cost for raw materials on the steel price when international steel price is increasing.
Anshan Iron and Steel increased hot rolled coil export price to Japan by US$ 10 per tonne for January rolling and by US$ 55 for February. The firm apparently increases the price again for March when the price to Japan is lower than the international level.
