JFE Engineering announced on Tuesday the firm received orders of ballast water disposal system, JFE Ballast Ace, for one large size collier of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha and two large size bulkers of Universal Shipbuilding. Shipbuilders evaluated the system’s large lot and high speed ballast water disposal with safety and certainty.
JFE Engineering recently acquired an approval for model expansion of ballast water disposal system by 4,500 cubic meters, the world largest size per unit, from Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The firm aims to supply the system for various ship types from small size to 400,000-tonne class. The firm also completed enhancement of global agent supply network. Running cost can be halved by the agent utilization.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
