Japanese shipbuilding steel processer, Teraoka Group in Hiroshima, sets up business base in Sendai and tears down disabled ship and building by the disaster of the Great East Japan Earthquake and takes away rubble. The firm accepts order for salvage barge for work on the sea, and expands the operation in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures when the demand increases for demolition of ship and building in disaster area.
The firm will support reconstruction of disaster area by business know-how and takes demand with local companies. The firm establishes business base for the first time except at Hiroshima. Sendai office has 3 persons. The firm already started demolition work of 6 ships in Iwate and Miyagi from May. The firm builds salvage barge in Hiroshima or group company in China.
