Japan Rolled Al Market Price Increases by 15-20 yen/kg in July

Rolled Aluminium market price increased in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya in the end of July from June, announced by Japanese rolled aluminium dealers group. The dealers increased selling price when primary aluminium ingot price increased by 20 yen to 270 yen per kilogram for July-September from April-June. The dealers try to pass the cost increase on the selling price. However, the market price would not increase when primary aluminium ingot price could decrease in and after October.Rolled aluminium market price increased by 15 yen per kg for flat rolled aluminium with 1,000 millimeters width and 2,000 mm length and for flat rolled aluminium alloy for A5052P grade in Tokyo in the end of July from June and by 20 yen for other items. The price increased by 20 yen for all items in Osaka and Nagoya.Japanese primary aluminium ingot price could decrease in and after October when offshore market price turned downward in August. Japanese rolled aluminium demand slows for semiconductor making equipment.
