Mitsui Mining & Smelting announced on Friday the firm revised up official zinc ingot price by 5,000 yen to 210,000 yen per tonne for August shipment. The price increase was relatively low compared with zinc ingot price increase at London Metal Exchange due to strong yen exchange rate.
Zinc price at LME increased by around US$ 100 per tonne on Thursday from the day, based on which previous price revision of Mitsui Mining & Smelting on Tuesday. The monthly averaged price increased by 3,100 yen to 214,600 yen without anymore revision in August.| M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
