Mitsui Kinzoku announced on June 15 that it raised its June zinc official quotation by 12,000 yen to 406,000 yen per ton. The price increase was due to higher overseas market prices and the yen’s depreciation against the U.S. dollar. The estimated average price for the month was 394,400 yen.
