4 blast furnaces steel manufactures had announced consolidated accounting in the business year ending in March by 28th. Nippon Steel and Sumitom Metal, JFE Holdings and Kobe Steel marked increases in recurring profit, and Nisshin Steel kept the previous period level. Crude steel output decreased due to negative impact of sales tax increase, but 4 firms tried to recover profit improving metal spread and cuttig cost.
