At Sierra Gorda copper mine project in Chile that Sumitomo Metal Mining participates with Sumitomo Corporation, the firm aims to start constructive works for second stage development in the first half of 2016. Now, they are increasing production volume step by step at the first stage development, and reach to 70-80% operation. After second stage development, they plans to increase Copper production volume to annual average 220,000 tons.
