JX Nippon Mining & Metals announced on 26th to decrease official copper price for November shipments by 20,000 yen per ton to 820,000 yen. Official copper price had been increasing without down phase on the background of cheaper yen and strong dollar, but it dropped for the first time since October 20th due to further falling of overseas copper price.
