Sumitomo Electric Industries, the Business Profit for F2014 to be More Than Originally Planned

Sumitomo Electric Industries expects the business profit for this term (fiscal 2014 ending March 2015) is more than 125 billion yen originally planned. The firm set the interim target, sales amount for fiscal 2015 ending March 2016 2.6 trillion yen, business profit for the term 130 billion yen in new medium-term management plan “17 VISION”. The firm is expected to achieve the level a year ahead of schedule. It is background that the business for automobile keeps firmer tone, and lower yen is positive for the business performance.
