Nisshin Steel announced on 20th the firm will raise the price of stainless steel sheet (hot rolled, cold rolled) and stainless steel pipe from April shipments. SUS304 (Nickel series) will increase by 10,000 yen per ton, and SUS430 (Chrome series) rise by 5,000 yen. It is on the background of rising material cost caused by 為替 and increasing ferrochrome purchasing price.
