Official Copper Price Recovers to 800,000 Yen for the First Time in 10 Months

Official copper price for December shipments increased by 10,000 yen per ton to 800,000 yen, JX Nippon Mining & Metals announced on 19th. It recovered to 800,000 yen level for the first time in 10 months since February 22nd. It is on the background that exchange rates swung over to sharp depreciation of the yen against the dollar after the United States had decided to reduce easing of the money supply.
