Baosteel-NSC Automotive Steel Sheets(BNA), a joint venture making steel sheets for automobile by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal and BaoSteel in Shanghai, expect to keep full production in 2014. Automobile production is estimated to increase in China, including Japanese makers in China. Because BNA is already operating at full swing, the firm will ask Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal to support supply of GA (Alloyed hot dip galvanized) steel sheet for car made by Japanese maker, as needed basis. Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal plans to increase output of GI(hot dip galvanizing) steel sheet and cold-rolled steel for European car and Chinese car cooperating with BaoSteel.
