Kobe Steel add a heating furnace to 2 furnaces in No.2 slabbing mill of Kakogawa Works, and increase processing capacity from monthly 150000 tons to 300000 tons. It is the expansion to increase billet, bloom output for Kobe Steel associated with consolidation of upper process to Kakogawa, that is planned in fiscal 2017.
