JFE Steel will operate Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets manufacturing subsidiary in Thailand, JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailannd), in full swing in the end of 2014. Annual capability is 400,000 tons. The firm will operate it in April 2013, and get quality certification from automobile makers step by step, and respond to request for increased volume and procurement needs from users increasing capability. It is the second Continuous Galvanizing Line(CGL) of JFE steel abroad following China. It also secure site for expansion and prepare for increasing capacity in the future. The firm plans to establish CGL in Indonesia and India, and tries to respond to demand of high grade steel increasing in Asia.
