Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal announced on 7th to raise base price of Nickel, Chrome series cold rolled steel sheet and Medium and heavy plate for domestic for November contracts by 10,000 yen. It is on the background of rising cost including electric power charge. The firm want to hike them not only for distributors but also for contract price. revised amount is 10,000 yen up because alloy price keeps flat. For nickel series, price is hiked since March, and chrome series rose since May.
