JX Nippon Mining & Metals that has the top share in rolled copper foil, started to sell ultrahigh-strength titanium copper foil in full swing. They are used as spring material of automatic focus structure for cell-phone camera which needs excessively high strength. The firm has been put into commercial production from this year. Though monthly output is around 2.5 tons now, they think to increase them to 7 tons in 2015.
