Asahi Industries Saitama Works to Streamline the Operational Framework of Steel Making

Asahi Industries Saitama works will shift an operational framework of steel making field from 3 shifts by 4 groups to 2 shifts by 3 groups from August 10th, after nonoperating period of furnace in the summer by periodic repair. Though a part of steel making is operating for weekday daytime now, it will be changed to night operation. For weekday daytime, only rolling will operate, and on public holidays and Saturday and Sunday, both steel making and rolling keep to be in full operation for twenty‐four hours.
