Output of Rolled Aluminum Products for the First Half of 2013 Drops by 5.3% to 950,000 Tons

Production of rolled aluminum products for the first half of 2013 decreased by 5.3% from the previous year to 952406 tons, Japan Aluminium Association announced on 26th. Result for the first half of calendar year decreased for the first time in 2 years. In the first half of the previous year, output for automobile is active in the background of cash for clunkers and some sash makers conducted alternate production in Japan because of flood in Thailand. But this time, it dropped with their rebound.
