Quantitative recovery of steel industry has become clear. Shipments of ordinary steels for July-September is expected to increase by 2.1% (380,000 tons) from the previous term to around 19.05 million tons, Japan Iron and Steel Federation said. Shipments for Japan is likely to increase by 3.1% (360,000 tons) to 12.02 million tons, one for export rises by 0.4% (3,000 tons) to 7.03 million tons, and output of steel material will rise by 0.7% (130,000 tons) to around 18.9 million tons. Shipments for quarter term reaches 19 million tons level for the first time in 10 quarter term. Sluggish special steels demand is also expected to improve.
