Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and major resource development company in England, Rio Tinto announced on 12th to start production in new mining area of Australian material coal mine, Kestrel. The mining area has been developed with 2 billion dollars from 2009, and lifetime extension leads to increasing production. They will ship production from new mining area for the first time in several weeks. Mitsui & Co., Ltd. regards coal as priority business of material energy, and increase availability and respond to world rising demand.
