Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal raised H-beam selling price for distributors for July shipments by 3,000 yen per tonne from the previous year. The firm hiked price for the first time in 4 months with precise timing closely monitoring demand trends. The firm says it will hikes H-beam by 10,000 yen in the first term. And it gets to 8,000 yen in total so far. The firm also plans to raise the price next month depending on conditions.
