Steel beam demand is increasing strongly in new fiscal year in Japan. Estimated demand in April increased by 27.4% from the previous year to 454,000 tons, it was the increase for the 9th straight months. Moreover, it exceeded 400,000 tons for 2nd straight months. Though rising of steel material demand for construction might be controlled because of scarce capacity of fabricator, it is likely to remain firmer tone keeping annual 5 million tons pace at the moment.
