Nippon Steel Trading announced on 17th to establish a wire rod processing company, a solely owned subsidiary, in Indonesia in June. The new firm will process wire rod for bearing to thin wire. Output capability is planned to be annual 8000 tons. At the moment the firm will deliver for Japanese-affiliated makers, and in the future supply for local makers.
