Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal announced on 24th, tension strength 1.2 GPa level-Galvannealed Steel Sheet (GA) was used to floor side member, main frame parts, of new light automobile “Spacia” that Suzuki released in March. It is the first time for 1.2 GPa level Ultra-High Tensile GA Steel Sheet to be used by Japanese automobile maker. And it is the world greatest intensity in GA Steel Sheet used as frame parts.
