According to copper and brass output quick estimation in March Japan Copper and Brass Association announced on 23rd, total output decreased by 5.3% from the previous year to 63,480 tons. It was a decrease compared with the previous year for the straight 5 months. Main items including copper strip, brass strip, brass bar and copper tube decreased from the last year. But items for export just improved to last June level, and it showed signs of bottoming out.
