Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal plans to raise steel prices of April-September for domestic by over 15,000 yen per tons. The firm continues to make it position to hike by over 10,000 yen for all items including steel sheet, plate, steel pipe, steel bar and building material since early spring, but improved to over 15,000 yen due to over 20% of high yen improvement and cost up including price hike of iron ore and auxiliary material for April-June.
