Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal raises selling price of H-beam for distributors in March contract by 5000 yen per ton. The firm puts out to hike 10,000 yen in the first half of fiscal 2014, and this is first step. Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal plans to keep price hike in and after next month too, adjusting market environment by keeping barebones accepting order and output.
