JX Nippon Mining & Metals announced on 28th the firm raised the official copper price for January shipment by 20,000 yen to 780,000 yen. Estimated monthly average increased by 4,200 yen to 761,000 yen. It is on the background of increasing overseas market and low yen. It is the highest price in this year and a half since the first half of August 2011.
