Kobe Steel announced on 24th that new heat-treating furnace of plate mill in Kakogawa Works started to operate. The firm invested around 4 billion yen with total, and built additional Radiant Tube Heating Continuous Type Heat-Treating Furnace. Heat-treating furnace for plate came to 2 units. The firm focus on extending business for energy field stable demand is expected from now, and aims strong entity making it triad in addition to shipbuilding field and architectural material field.
