ROTTERDAM, Netherlands–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Intertek, a leading provider of quality testing, inspection and safety
services to a wide range of industries around the world, has acquired
Dutch metals testing Laboratory Services International B.V. (LSI).

expansion are created.”
LSI, a London Metal Exchange (LME) approved assay facility, provides
exchange and umpire analysis services for non-ferrous metals and
concentrates as well as ferro-alloys. Registered in the Netherlands, LSI

global non-ferrous metals and metals concentrate as well as ferro-alloy
inspection and testing market.
As a commercial non-ferrous metals and metal concentrate testing
facility, LSI gives Intertek a European based, LME approved, 3rd party,
independent party assay exchange and umpire assay facility.
LSI provides party assay exchange assay and umpire laboratory services,
using advanced instrumental techniques (XRF, ICP), classical procedures
(wet chemistry) and “fire assay” to determine metal purities and

commercial settlement purposes.
