Nisshin Steel reduces output of stainless in Nisshin Steel Holdings including Nippon Metal Industry by 30% from plan for the second half of fiscal 2012, from November, because of dull automobile-related demand and adjustment of market environment for price increase. The firm aims to get balance of supply and demand in stainless market tight. And the firm continues to sell and manufacture high-manganese steel (D series) which Nippon Metal Industry makes in Kinuura now.
