Output of Zinc in September Rises by 45% from the Previous Month

According to statistics that Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced on 30th, outputs of zinc in September increased by 44.6% from the previous month to 45,345 tons because Annaka smelting works of Toho Zinc finished a shutdown. But it decreased by 9.6% from the previous year as Annaka smelting works did not reach to produce in full swing. Outputs of electric copper was 127,987 tons, it was the same level compared with August. But it increased by 10.3% from the previous year.
