Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products to Enter the Vietnamese Market

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products announced 25th to enter the Vietnamese market. The firm established “Nippon Steel & Sumikin Metal Products Vietnam” on 23rd which aims to sell and manufacture iron and steel building material products including structural steel pipe, joint venture with Sumitomo Group, Kyoei Steel, Bacviet Steel which is a local iron and steel selling and processing company. The firm thinks to keep pace with demand of iron and steel building material products that is expanding on the background of a large development and infrastructure development in urban area of Vietnam. At the moment, though the joint venture aims to expand operating base in order to produce 50000 tons of structural steel pipe. In the future, the firm plans to provide iron and steel processing products for construction and civil engineering, answering the needs in ASEAN area.
