Marubeni-Itochu Steel plans to increase trade volume of steel materials in India in fiscal 2014 to 230% compared with estimation in fiscal 2012 to 700,000 tons. The firm plans to expand the following 4 businesses, (1) an export of steel material from Japan, (2) a supply to Japanese-affiliated and European and American consumers by the joint coil center with local major iron and steel company, JSW Steel, (3) going into distribution in India, putting business companies at the core and (4) exports to North America from local steel material company. And the firm also back up thoroughly Japanese client enterprise which expand their business to India to construct supply-chain management.
