Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Industries announced on 5th, They will integrate Nippon Steel Logistics and Sumitomo Metal Logistics Service, a wholly-owned subsidiary for distribution of each firms, by April 1st 2013. Nippon Steel Logistics and Sumitomo Metal Logistics Service signed a letter of intent about integration and reorganization on 5th. The presidents of both companies will become leaders of preparation committee and they will discuss the concrete content for synergy. A total sales of 2 firms is around 230 billion yen, and the new firm will become top exceeding 182 billion yen in JFE Logistics.
