Furukawa-Sky Aluminum and Sumitomo Light Metal Industries announced on 29th they would integrate their businesses in October next year. Furukawa-Sky Aluminum takes Sumitomo Light Metal Industries over. They thought it is difficult to glow continually alone while aluminum demand for Japan is decreasing and competition is intensifying in oversea’s market. They plan to strengthen operating base and fight for survival by management integration. Combined sales is over 450 billion yen.
